Baseball Game Preview: Greece Arcadia Titans vs. Brockport Blue Devils

Greece Arcadia is 0-10 against Brockport since April of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Titans will host the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m.

Greece Arcadia is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Monday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brockport.

Greece Arcadia got a good showing from Andrew Reichert, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Reichert has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Greece Arcadia saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Jussen, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another was Christopher Walter, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The win (which was Brockport's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Greece Arcadia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
