Soccer Recap: Langston Hughes Comes Up Short

Langston Hughes lost against Northgate back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Langston Hughes Panthers lost 11-0 to the Northgate Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Vikings are ranked 11th).

Langston Hughes now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Northgate, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Looking ahead, Langston Hughes will square off against McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northgate, they will challenge Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Northgate's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
