Basketball Recap: Harrisonburg Takes a Loss

Harrisonburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 65-23 defeat at the hands of the Ouachita Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Eagles are ranked 155th).

Harrisonburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ouachita Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Harrisonburg and Grace Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Ouachita Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Castor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ouachita Christian's defense has only allowed 21.8 points per game this season, so Castor's offense will have their work cut out for them.
