Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln East vs. Creighton Prep

Lincoln East's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Lincoln High. The victory continues a trend for Lincoln East in their matchups with Lincoln High: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Creighton Prep had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 4-2. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of four yellow cards before it was all over.

Creighton Prep hit Omaha Westside with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jordan Igwenma (2), Louis Tokporo, and Jacob Szatko.

Creighton Prep pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Lincoln East, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
