Baseball Recap: Kosciusko Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Kosciusko was the 12-3 winner over Houston when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kosciusko Whippets fell just short of the Houston Hilltoppers by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Whippets have lost by just one run.

Kosciusko's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Houston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

While Kosciusko had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
