Volleyball Recap: St. John's Prep Beats La Salle Institute for Their Third Straight Victory

St. John's Prep entered their tilt with La Salle Institute on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cadets.

While St. John's Prep might've won, it sure wasn't easy: La Salle Institute scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 27-25.

St. John's Prep's offense was headlined by Eric Stankiewicz and Blake Williams, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Jason Frani and his 11 assists. Zachary Shea and Aleksi Pilinci kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

St. John's Prep pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, St. John's Prep will head out on the road to square off against Christ the King at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
