Calvary Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Steinbrenner. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Calvary Christian also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Morgen Talley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Emma Bell and Claire Caoili did most of the damage at the plate: Bell went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Caoili went 1-for-3 with one home run. That triple was Bell's first of the season.

Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Steinbrenner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.

Calvary Christian will be playing at home against Lake Region at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Region will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Calvary Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Steinbrenner, they will challenge River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (River Ridge 3.1, Steinbrenner 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
