It's playoff time, and Mt. Pleasant had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Denison Yellow Jackets with a sharp 70-47 win on Tuesday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Mt. Pleasant was led to victory by Reggie Webster and Carter Chism. Webster on his way to 21 points along with eight boards and five assists, while Chism to rack up 17 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Webster also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zeke Hargrave, who en route to 14 points.

Mt. Pleasant has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. Denison is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 22-10.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-40 defeat against The Colony on the 21st. Denison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
