Volleyball Recap: Bedford Has No Trouble Against Huron

Bedford came into Tuesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Huron River Rats 3-0 on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Kicking Mules yet this season.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-20.

Lucy Monahan paced Bedford's offense, picking up ten kills. Monahan got some help from Cady Fischer and her 20 assists. Fischer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hayden Fausze, each putting up six.

Bedford's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 14-8. As for Huron, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12-1.

Coming up, Bedford will face off against St. Mary Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huron, after both having extra time off, they and Monroe will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
