Kingsway is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over Rancocas Valley on Monday. Considering the Dragons have won three games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Dylan Rickards was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brayden Thorp, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Cumberland ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Pennsville Memorial 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Colts as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Cumberland also got a great performance from Daniel Orr as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched.

At the plate, Peyton Brenner was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Kingsway pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Cumberland, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-8.

Kingsway's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. The Dragons have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Cumberland, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Kingsway continue to outrun the ball?

Kingsway took their win against Cumberland in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
