Georgetown took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-24 victory over the New Richmond Lions. The win was familiar territory for the G-Men, who have now won six games in a row dating back to last season.

Morgan Preston had an outrageously good game as she went 7-for-10 on her way to 21 points and eight steals. Those 21 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Liv Tracy, who posted 14 points and six steals.

Georgetown will have a chance to go back-to-back against New Richmond: the pair will be back at it again later today.
