The Virgin Valley Bulldogs will take on the Spring Creek Spartans in a tournament on Thursday. Spring Creek took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Virgin Valley, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Virgin Valley turned things around against Fernley on Saturday. They took down the Vaqueros 54-36.

Meanwhile, Spring Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgeline.

Virgin Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Spring Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Virgin Valley came up short against Spring Creek in their previous matchup on December 7th, falling 65-58. Can Virgin Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
