Volleyball Preview: Lincoln Trojans vs. West Wolfpack

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Lincoln finally turned things around against Kimball on Thursday. They came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 3-1.
In the three sets Lincoln was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 16-25, 25-5, 25-9.
Meanwhile, West didn't have quite enough to beat River Islands on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
West actually scored more points across those five sets (110-108), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 24-26, 25-20, 18-16.
Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Everything went Lincoln's way against West in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 as Lincoln made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
