Soccer Game Preview: Green River vs. Star Valley

The Green River Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Star Valley Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Green River lost 9-3 to Kelly Walsh on Saturday. Green River have struggled against Kelly Walsh recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Brookelyn Phillips and Isa Vasco scored all three of Green River's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Meanwhile, Star Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch back in March as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Green River, falling 19-0.

Star Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Green River, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Green River took their win against Star Valley when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 19-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
