Softball Preview: Pascagoula Panthers vs. West Harrison Hurricanes

Pascagoula is 0-4 against West Harrison since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pascagoula Panthers will head out on the road to take on the West Harrison Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m.

Pascagoula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Picayune by a score of 3-2.

Anneleese Rabon spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those seven innings set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, Keara Millender made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and a double.

Pascagoula's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for West Harrison, they pushed their record up to 10-11 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
