Softball Recap: J.R. Tucker Takes a Loss

J.R. Tucker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Clover Hill Cavaliers. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 18-0 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

J.R. Tucker saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Bryant, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Victoria Smith also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

J.R. Tucker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Clover Hill, their record now sits at 3-1.

J.R. Tucker and Clover Hill will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time J.R. Tucker sees the field they'll take on Maggie Walker at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Clover Hill, their break will end when they face Manchester at 5:00 p.m. on April 8.
