Volleyball Recap: North Hardin Comes Up Short

North Hardin was the 3-2 winner over John Hardin when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Hardin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-20.

John Hardin found their leader in freshman Khloe Yasin, who had 13 digs and one assist. Yasin has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played. Scarlett Leggett also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

North Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for John Hardin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, North Hardin will challenge Central Hardin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Hardin, they will square off against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
