Volleyball Recap: Plainview Triumphs

Plainview lost to Madison County back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bears came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

The victory didn't come easy: Madison County scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 15-25, 25-18, 27-25.

Charlie Richey was nothing short of spectacular: she had 25 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Madison County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-15 record this season.

Plainview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Boaz on the 27th. As for Madison County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Buckhorn on the 30th.
