Canyon is 6-1 against Pampa since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Harvesters at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Canyon and Dumas had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles took a 34-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Demons on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Demons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Although Canyon took the loss, they still got scores from Brox Hacker, Austin Turner, and Bayler Schilling.

Even if they lost, Canyon's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Zacchaeus Garcia with two.

Meanwhile, Pampa played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against West Plains, falling 55-7. The Harvesters were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-7.

Pampa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Canyon, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Canyon against Pampa in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 50-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
