While Weimar's victory against Flatonia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Bulldogs on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted against the Bulldogs since October 5, 2021.

Weimar now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Flatonia, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-13 record.

Coincidentally, Weimar and Flatonia will both be playing Lexington the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
