Glencoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-7 to the West End Patriots. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West End, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Glencoe will square off against Cherokee County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for West End, they have already played their next contest, a 16-6 victory against Falkville on the 1st.
