Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santiago). They blew past the Santa Ana Valley Falcons 17-1 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Evann Hernandez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Cortez, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Santiago was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Ana Valley only posted a batting average of .095.

Santiago pushed their record up to 4-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Ana Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
