Soccer Recap: Royal Comes Up Short

Royal was the 2-1 winner over Geffen Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Highlanders fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Royal have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Royal's loss dropped their record down to 6-17-3. As for Geffen Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Looking ahead, Royal will host Simi Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Geffen Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
