Soccer Game Preview: Post Falls vs. Lewiston

The Post Falls Trojans will face off against the Lewiston Bengals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewiston took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Post Falls, who comes in off a win.

Post Falls headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Timberlake let them put that streak behind them. The Trojans blew past the Tigers 5-1 on Tuesday. With Post Falls ahead 4-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Lewiston fell victim to Sandpoint and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Lewiston haven't been shut out since back in August.

Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Post Falls, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
