Baseball Recap: Becton Comes Up Short

Becton blew Wallington out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Wallington got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since March 31st.

Becton's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wallington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Becton will face off against Mahwah at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wallington, they will challenge Weehawken at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
