Coronado strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Doherty Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Coronado easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-8.

Coronado pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Doherty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coronado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Sand Creek on the 22nd. As for Doherty, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 22nd.
