Softball Preview: Pamlico County Hurricanes vs. Croatan Cougars

Pamlico County scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Lejeune as Pamlico County made off with a 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Pamlico County, who have now won six matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Layla Prescott made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Prescott has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Prescott was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
