Softball Recap: Sherman Bearcats vs. Independence Knights
Sherman pushed their score to 13 the last time they played Independence, but on Monday they couldn't quite do it again. The Sherman Bearcats' pitcher stepped up to hand the Independence Knights a 3-0 shutout. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.
Not much got past Kendyll Applegate, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep Independence off the board.
