Softball Recap: Fort Loramie Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Fort Loramie won the last time they faced Fairlawn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Redskins were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Jets.

Katelyn Poeppelman was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Ava Schafer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Fort Loramie hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Fort Loramie's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13. As for Fairlawn, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
