Volleyball Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers vs. Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs
Cuyahoga Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Thursday.
While Cuyahoga Falls was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Stow-Munroe Falls' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.
Joey Stiffler paced Cuyahoga Falls' offense, picking up 14 kills. Stiffler got some help from Lucas Hummel and his 21 assists. Hummel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Cuyahoga Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
