Football Game Preview: Dexter/Piscataquis vs. Foxcroft

Foxcroft have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Saturday. They will take on Dexter/Piscataquis at 1:00 PM. Dexter/Piscataquis will need to watch out since Foxcroft have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Foxcroft got themselves on the board against Washington Academy last Friday, but Washington Academy never followed suit. Foxcroft took the game and then some with a 41-0 win over Washington Academy. The victory was familiar territory for Foxcroft, who now have seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Dexter/Piscataquis put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Mount View as they made off with a 24-0 victory. Dexter/Piscataquis were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Dexter/Piscataquis to 5-2 and Foxcroft to 7-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
