Baseball Recap: Hollywood Comes Up Short

Hollywood's tournament run continued when they took on Gardena on Saturday. Hollywood came up short against Gardena, falling 11-4. The Sheiks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hollywood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Fitz, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Hollywood's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Gardena, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hollywood will face off against Robert F. Kennedy Community at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gardena, they will venture away from home to take on Carson at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Gardena surely won't give up without a fight.
