Softball Game Preview: West Prairie Cyclones vs. Monmouth United Red Storm

The West Prairie Cyclones will square off against the Monmouth United Red Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for West Prairie and three for Monmouth United.

West Prairie lost 18-2 to Camp Point Central on Thursday.

West Prairie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addalyn Stanberry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Monmouth United came up short against Bureau Valley on Saturday, falling 12-1.

West Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Monmouth United, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
