Football Recap: Standish-Sterling Comes Up Short

Standish-Sterling lost against Reed City back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers had to suffer through a 52-15 loss at the hands of the Coyotes. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Coyotes are ranked 115th).

Standish-Sterling dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Reed City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

As of now, neither Standish-Sterling nor the Coyotes have any future games scheduled.
