Baseball Recap: Waynesville Takes a Loss

If Waynesville was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Brookville last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eaton Eagles on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 last Friday.

Waynesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Bulach, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Waynesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Eaton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Waynesville will head out to take on Miamisburg at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Eaton, they will host Greenville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Green Wave at the right time seeing as the Green Wave are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
