Volleyball Recap: Big Piney Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Big Piney lost against Mountain View back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Punchers lost 3-0 to the Buffalos. The Punchers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Big Piney took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-19.

Big Piney's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mountain View, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Piney will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Farson-Eden at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Green River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
