Softball Recap: Isabella Mustangs vs. Central of Coosa County Cougars

Isabella came into Thursday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Central of Coosa County Cougars on Thursday as the Isabella Mustangs made off with a 13-3 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2017.

Maleigh Mcgalliard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Mcgalliard was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubreigh Davenport, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season.
