Football Preview: Union Yellowjackets vs. Pisgah Dragons        
        
		
            The Union Yellowjackets will head out on the road to  take on  the Pisgah Dragons  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Union is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Union is headed into the  game after thoroughly thrashing St. Andrew's Episcopal: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Yellowjackets blew the Saints out of the water with  a  42-7 final score. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Yellowjackets' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Saints are ranked 244th).

 Myilan Moore had another great game (as  he tends to do), throwing for 206 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 67 yards and one  score. 88 of  Moore's passing yards were hauled in by Moonie Harris.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Union proved: they limited St. Andrew's Episcopal to a paltry 2.6 yards per carry. The Yellowjackets didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.3.
 Union didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Zie Buckley and  Aidan Easterling.
 Meanwhile, Pisgah lost to Lake on the road  by a   24-6 margin on Friday. The Dragons have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Union, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
Thursday's   contest might be decided on the ground. Union has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 214.8  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Pisgah struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 281.6  rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Everything went Union's way against Pisgah in their previous matchup  back in November of 2016, as Union made off with  a  37-13 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Dragons'  Don Ragsdale, who rushed for 211 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Now that he won't be playing  on Thursday, will it be easier for the Yellowjackets to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
