Volleyball Recap: Albany Academy Triumphs

Albany Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Emma Willard Jesters. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Jesters walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

In the three sets Albany Academy was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 22-25, 25-7, 25-11.

Albany Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Emma Willard, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Albany Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Schoharie on the 27th. As for Emma Willard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Cambridge on the 29th.
