Basketball Game Preview: Hugo Buffaloes vs. Broken Bow Savages

Hugo hasn't had much luck against Broken Bow recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hugo Buffaloes will host the Broken Bow Savages at 7:30 p.m.

Hugo is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Broken Bow, falling 67-41. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Savages are ranked 77th).

The win (which was Broken Bow's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Hugo, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
