Baseball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Austin and Florence, and Florence kept the tradition alive. The Black Bears fell 10-5 to the Falcons on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss on Saturday.

Austin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Harville, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Austin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 18 of their last 21 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-26 record this season. As for Florence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-21.

As of now, neither Austin nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
