Basketball Recap: Twin Valley Wildcats vs. Williamstown Blue Devils
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Twin Valley can now relate to. They were beaten by the Williamstown Blue Devils 74-29 on Friday. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Despite the defeat, Twin Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Niko Gerding posted 18 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williamstown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evan Bailey, who had 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Bailey is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Quentavas Horace, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.
