The Valley View Tigers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo by a score of 73-66. The victory was just what Valley View needed coming off of a 62-28 defeat in their prior game.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Erasmo Montalvo, who scored 19 points. Matthew Garcia was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Valley View's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Valley View will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hidalgo at 6:30 p.m. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo is on the road again on Friday and play against Donna North at 9:00 a.m. on December 1st.
