Football Game Preview: Trimble Tomcats vs. Waterford Wildcats

The Trimble Tomcats will head out to challenge the Waterford Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Trimble is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 44 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Eastern on Friday. They were beaten by the Eagles 35-6. The Tomcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Waterford waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lancers 63-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 38 points or more this season.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Trimble, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Trimble couldn't quite get it done against Waterford in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 14-6. Can the Tomcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
