Soccer Recap: Hockaday Takes a Loss

Hockaday pushed their score to eight the last time they played Parish Episcopal, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Hockaday Daisies fell just short of the Parish Episcopal Panthers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Daisies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hockaday's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Parish Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-2.

Hockaday will be home for the holidays to greet Ursuline Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parish Episcopal, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Trinity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 16, 2025.
