Molalla had to settle for second on Thursday, but Brenna Jackson sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Jackson was still locked in as she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Jackson couldn't lead Molalla over Crook County, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
