Volleyball Recap: Owsley County Takes a Loss

Owsley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Leslie County Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls / Lady Owls of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Owsley County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Leslie County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Owsley County will welcome Powell County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Owls / Lady Owls their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Leslie County, they will head out on the road to challenge Breathitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
