Basketball Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Addenbrooke Classical Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 44-37 to the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, with their most recent loss being a 70-34 defeat back in January.

Isaiah Fresquez had a dynamite game for Golden View Classical Academy, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Fresquez continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Huck Hale also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Golden View Classical Academy, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will face off against Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th. Strasburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season. As for Golden View Classical Academy, they will take on Belleview Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Golden View Classical Academy is facing Belleview Christian at the right time seeing as Belleview Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
