It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Albuquerque ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the West Mesa Mustangs as they made off with an 18-11 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Albuquerque's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for West Mesa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Albuquerque wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-8 loss against Los Lunas on the 11th. As for West Mesa, they have also already played their next game, a 19-0 victory against Del Norte on the 14th.
