Volleyball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

Highlands lost against Lindhurst back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Scots fell just short of the Blazers by a score of 3-2.

Highlands took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 15-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lindhurst, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Highlands will challenge rival Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lindhurst is set to take on their familiar foe Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
